Anthony tiene nueve años y estudia tercer grado en el colegio. Viven con su abuelita en Agua Caliente, cerca del polideportivo. Su papá no es parte de su vida y su mamá murió, entonces su abuela lo está criando solita. Este año, Anthony está emocionado porque su prima, Giselle, también estudiará en el colegio. Cursa segundo grado.
Las materias favoritas de Anthony son física, arte, y matemáticas. Le gusta ayudar a su abuela en la casa, sobre todo a barrer y trapear. Le gustan los tacos y cuando Anthony sea grande quiere ser ganadero. Dice que una cosa interesante sobre él es que es muy amigable.
La abuela de Anthony tiene una tiendita en la casa donde vende sodas y otros snacks, pero en estos días ha estado bastante mal de salud y con los gastos extras de la medicina necesita un poco más ayuda para Anthony. Quiere que su nieto se eduque aquí, pero no lo puede hacer sola.

Anthony is nine years old and in third grade at PNARDS. He lives with his grandmother in Agua Caliente. His father isn’t around and his mother passed away, so his grandmother is raising him by herself. This year, Anthony is excited because his cousin, Giselle, is also coming to school here. She’s in second grade.
Anthony’s favorite subjects are gym, art, and math. He likes to help his grandma out around the house, especially with sweeping and mopping. Anthony likes tacos and wants to be a cattle rancher when he grows up. He says that one interesting thing about him is that he’s friendly.
Anthony’s grandmother has a little store where she sells snacks and sodas, but she has had some costly health problems recently, so she needs some extra help for Anthony. She’s sent him to PNARDS because she wants him to get the best education he can, but she can’t do it alone.
