Axel tiene doce años y estudia sexto grado. Es su primer año en el colegio. Le gusta venir a estudiar aquí, porque su sobrino, Andy, es en su mismo clase. La hermana de Axel, Miriam, ha querido matricular a Axel y este año se puso de acuerdo con la mamá para hacerlo. Miriam trabaja en la clínica del P. Rafael Fuentes (fundador del colegio) y ella sabe que aquí, su hermano recibirá una mejor educación.
A Axel le encanta jugar futbol y juega por la selección juvenil del pueblo. Es portero. Entrena todos los martes y jueves. Cuando no está jugando, hace sus tareas y ayuda en la casa. Su materia favorita es física y sus comidas favoritas son chow mein y pizza. Lo que más le gusta a Axel del colegio es que es más tranquilo y más limpio que la escuela pública.

Axel is twelve years old and in sixth grade. This is his first year at PNARDS. He’s excited to come to school here, because his nephew, Andy, is in his same class. Axel’s sister, Miriam, has been encouraging their mom to enroll Axel at PNARDS for several years now. She works at the clinic founded by Fr. Rafael Fuentes (the founder of PNARDS) and knows that her brother will get a better education here than at the public school.
Axel loves playing soccer and is a goalie for the town youth team. He trains every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. When he’s not playing soccer, he does his homework and helps out with the chores around the house. His favorite subject is gym and his favorite foods are chow mein and pizza. Axel likes that PNARDS is safer and cleaner than the public school where he’d been studying before.
