Thanks to your support, Cristian has been sponsored for the 2018 school year!

Cristian is thirteen years old and in sixth grade. He lives with his mother, who teaches first grade at PNARDS, his brother, Jhonathan Elías, who is in eighth grade, and his godmother, Amalia, who teaches kindergarten. His father lives in New York City. The family spends a lot of time with Susana’s parents, who live nearby, whom they affectionately call “Papa Guayo” and “Mama Yoya.” They have a dog they call “Negra” who just had puppies!
Cristian’s favorite class is computers, but his favorite part of coming to school is playing at recess. When he grows up, Cristian wants to be an architect. His favorite food is beef. Cristian loves to play soccer and play on his tablet and he’s got a lot of friends at school who he likes to spend time with.
Susana is doing the best she can with her boys. Since she is teaching here at PNARDS, she knows that her boys get the best education they can. However, Susana has had several health problems in the last couple years and receives only a little help from the boy’s father. We have offered Cristian a scholarship so that Susana doesn’t have to worry so much about making ends meet.
