Thanks to your support, Danielito has been sponsored for the 2018 school year!

Daniel is eleven years old and attends sixth grade at PNARDS. His older brother, Nelson David (seventh grade), and his little sister, Katherine Gabriela (first grade), also study at PNARDS.
Daniel, or “Danielito” as his friends call him (because he’s the littlest one in his grade), is an outgoing, loving boy. His favorite food is tacos and his favorite subject is computers. When he grows up, he wants to be an architect. Daniel is learning how to play the guitar and likes to practice in his free time. He also takes care of the animals he has at home, including a goat and a dog.
Daniel’s family is very close and loving but is going through some tough financial circumstances. Daniel’s mother, Magdalena, makes and sells fresh cheese around town, but she has not been selling as much lately. His father works taking care of pigs and helping his wife with her cheese. Together, their earnings are not enough to afford school for all three of the children. In addition, Daniel and his brother have asthma and other severe allergies, and must make a monthly trip to San Salvador for check-ups at the children’s hospital there.
Daniel’s mother finished high school, but her father only finished sixth grade. The family is active at church – all three children are altar servers and their parents sing in the church choir. They really want to provide their children with a Catholic education, because they know that the values that are instilled at PNARDS will last their children a lifetime.
