La materia favorita de Dayanara es ciencias y su color favorito es el celeste. Le gusta estudiar en el colegio porque aquí tiene todas sus amigas. En su tiempo libre, le gusta ver videos en YouTube, patinar, y comer. Su comida favorita es la pizza. Cuando Dayi sea grande, quiere ser profesora.
Ya que nadie tiene un trabajo fijo en la familia, le hemos ofrecido una media beca a Dayanara para que siga estudiando en el colegio, donde su abuela siente que recibirá una buena educación católica con valores.

Dayanara (whose nickname is Dayi) is fourteen years old and in eighth grade at PNARDS. She lives with her mother, a widow, her aunt, and her grandmother.
Dayanara’s favorite subject is science, her favorite color is sky blue, and her favorite food is pizza. She likes studying at PNARDS because all her friends are here. In her free time, she likes to watch YouTube, inline skate, and eat. When Dayi grows up, she wants to be a teacher.
None of her family has a steady job, but the half-scholarship program provides for Dayanara to continue studying at PNARDS, where her grandmother feels that the Catholic education she is getting will help her grow up with good morals.
