Diego Mauricio tiene nueve años y estudia tercer grado en el colegio. Vive a la par, con su mamá, su abuela, y sus tíos y tías, algunos de los cuales tienen casi la misma edad que él.
Las materias favoritas de Diego son matemáticas, física, y computación. Le encanta la pizza, los tacos, y las hamburguesas. Lo que más le gusta Mauricio del colegio es que siempre hay receso y le gusta jugar fútbol con sus compañeros. En su tiempo libre, le gusta jugar en su tablet y hacer sus tareas. Cuando Mauricio sea grande, quiere ser ganadero.
La mamá de Diego es madre soltera y ayuda con los gastos de lo demás familia también. Sirve como parte de la directiva de grado de su hijo y siempre es colaboradora con las actividades del colegio. Es tan felíz como su hijo que él estudie aquí.

Diego is nine years old and attends third grade at PNARDS. He lives right next door to the school with his mother, his grandmother, and his aunts and uncles, most of whom are right around his age.
Diego’s favorite subjects are math, gym, and computers. He loves pizza, tacos, and hamburgers. Diego’s favorite part of coming to school is that there’s always recess and he loves to play soccer with his classmates. In his free time, Diego likes to play on his tablet and do his homework and when he grows up, he wants to be a cattle rancher.
Diego’s mother is a single mom and she helps to support her mother and siblings, too. She serves on the school PTA and is always happy to help out with Diego’s class. She’s as excited to have Diego at school here as Diego is to be here!
