Alejandro tiene siete años y estudia primer grado en el colegio. Su hermano mayor, Daniel, estudia séptimo este año. Los padres de los niños están separados. Viven con su mamá, pero su papá sigue siendo presencia en la vida de ellos.
Alejandro es un niño inteligente y fue el primero en su clase que aprendió a leer el año pasado. Su materia favorita es matemáticas pero lo que más le gusta del colegio es que hay tres recesos. La comida favorita de Alejandro es pizza y en su tiempo libre, le gusta jugar con su perrito y correr. Cuando sea grande, quiere ser doctor.

Alejandro is seven years old and in first grade at PNARDS. His older brother, Daniel, is in seventh grade this year. The boys’ parents are separated, so Alejandro and Daniel live with their mom, but their father is also active in their lives.
Alejandro is a smart boy and was the first one in his class to learn to read last year. His favorite subject is math, but his favorite part of coming to school is that there are three recesses! Alejandro’s favorite food is pizza and in his free time, he likes to play with his puppy. He also likes to run. When he grows up, he wants to be a doctor.
