Dimas tiene seis años y estudia primer grado en el colegio. Es su primer año aquí. Su hermanita, Flor de María, estudia kínder-5.
La materia favorita de Dimas es matemáticas pero lo que más le gusta del colegio es el receso. Le encantan los hot dog. En su tiempo libre, a Dimas le gusta ayudar en la tienda de sus papás y sobre todo ir en el carro con su papá a comprar las cosas para la tienda. Dice que su papá ya le enseñó a manejar.
Dimas es un año menor que sus compañeros y a veces es una lucha con el horario de todo el día y de prestar atención a lo que está esrito en la pizarra. Sin embargo, los jueves en la tarde, su maestra trabaja especialmente con él y con otros niños que necesitan un poco más de ayuda, y sus papás están muy agradecidos con la maestra.

Dimas is six years old and in first grade at PNARDS. This is his first year at PNARDS. His younger sister, Flor de María, is in kindergarten here.
Dimas’ favorite subject is math, but his favorite part of coming to school is recess. He loves hot dogs. In his free time, Dimas likes to work in his parents’ store, and he especially likes to go with his dad in the car to buy things to stock the store. His dad has already taught him how to drive, he says.
Dimas is young for his grade, and sometimes struggles to pay attention all day and to read from the board. However, on Thursday afternoon, his teacher works especially with him and a few other students who need a little extra help, for which his parents are very grateful.
