Kamila tiene ocho años y estudia segundo grado en el colegio. Su hermana mayor, Yaneth, estudia noveno, y a Kamila le encanta venir a estudiar con ella. Las hermanas viven con su hermana mayor, también graduada del colegio, y sus papás, en Agua Caliente. Su papá trabaja en el proyecto de agua del pueblo y sus mamá es ama de casa.
La materia favorita de Kamila es lenguaje y le encanta el pollo frito con papas fritas. En la casa, le gusta ayudar a su mamá, sobre todo a lavar platos y barrer. También a Kamila le gusta jugar con sus muñecas y sus amigas. Lo que más le gusta del colegio es que es muy bonito. Cuando sea grande, Kamila quiere ser doctora.

Kamila is eight years old and in second grade. Her older sister, Yaneth, is in ninth grade and Kamila loves to come to school with her. Kamila and Yaneth live with their older sister, who is in high school, and their mother and father, in Agua Caliente. Their father works for the town water department and their mother takes care of the house.
Kamila’s favorite subject is language arts and her favorite food is fried chicken with French fries. At home, she likes to help her mom around the house, especially washing dishes and sweeping. She also likes to play with her dolls and her friends. Kamila’s favorite part of studying at PNARDS is how nice it is. When she grows up, she wants to be a doctor.
