Thanks to your support, Keily has been sponsored for the 2018 school year!

Keily is nine years old and is in third grade. She lives with her mom and her brother, Gerson, who is a PNARDS graduate. Her whole family is very close, especially since Keily’s father left right around the time she was born and the family hasn’t heard from him since.
Keily’s favorite color is pink and her favorite food is tacos. Her favorite subjects are math and gym, and when Keily grows up, she wants to be a veterinarian. Keily likes coming to school because she has a lot of friends here and in her free time she likes to play. She has a stuffed animal collection and her favorite one is a brown puppy she calls “Chocolate”.
Keily’s mom, Yeny, has a stall in the town market where she sells clothing. As a single mother, she is struggling to make ends meet and pay for Keily’s tuition, especially now that Gerson has graduated high school and is going to a university in the nearby city of Chalatenango. She wants to keep Keily in school at PNARDS because she has seen how much Gerson learned, compared with when he was at the public school, and she knows this is the best place for her bright little girl to flourish.
