David tiene trece años y estudia séptimo grado en el colegio. Vive con sus papás y sus hermanos – uno se graduó del colegio en el 2017 y el otro estudia en la Universidad de El Salvador en la capital.
A David le encanta jugar fútbol y juega en la selección juvenil del pueblo. Su materia favorita es inglés y su comida favorita es la comida china. En su tiempo libre, le gusta jugar PlayStation o pelota. Cuando sea grande, quiere estudiar administración de empresas. Dice «una cosa interesante sobre mi es que soy guapo!»
El papá de David es agricultor y sus ingresos mensuales son bajos. Sin embargo, por sus otros hijos, saben que la educación en el colegio es mejor que en la escuela pública y querían proveer a los dos niños con las mismas oportunidades.

David is thirteen years old and studies seventh grade at PNARDS. He lives with his parents and his brothers; one graduated from PNARDS last year and one is studying at the National University in San Salvador.
David loves to play soccer and is on the town youth team. David’s favorite subject is English and his favorite food is Chinese food. In his free time, he likes to play PlayStation and soccer. When he grows up, David wants to study business administration. He says, “one interesting thing about me is that I’m handsome!”.
David’s father is a farmer and their monthly income is very small. However, since David’s brother German studied here for several years, they know that the quality of education here is better than at the public school and wanted to provide both boys with the same opportunities.
