Thanks to your support, David has been sponsored for the 2018 school year!

David is thirteen years old and attends seventh grade at PNARDS. His younger brother, Daniel Alfonso, and his little sister, Katherine Gabriela, also study at PNARDS. Daniel is in sixth grade and Kati is in first grade.
David is a quiet, serious boy. His favorite subjects are English and computers. He also loves to draw and he spends his free times studying and watching movies. David’s favorite food is pupusas and his favorite color is dark blue. When he grows up, he wants to be a doctor, because of a memory he has of one time a doctor helped him.
David’s family is very close and loving but is going through some tough financial circumstances. His mother, Magdalena, makes and sells fresh cheese around town, but she has not been selling as much lately. His father works taking care of pigs and helping his wife with her cheese. Together, their earnings are not enough to afford school for all three of the children. In addition, the siblings all have asthma and allergies, and must make a monthly trip to San Salvador for check-ups at the children’s hospital there.
David’s mother finished high school, but his father only finished sixth grade. Magdalena and Nelson are active in the church choir and always offer to help out with events at the school. They really want to provide their children with a Catholic education, because they know that the values that are instilled at PNARDS will last their children a lifetime.
