Ronald tiene doce años y estudia sexto grado. Viene de un caserío (pueblito) lejísimos, que se llama «Sumpul Chacones». Este año, su primer año en el colegio, ha venido a vivir en la casa del peregrino. Se ha adaptado bastante, aunque extraña a su mamá y su hermanito Gustavo. Los hermanos de Ronald, Rodrigo y Alejandra, viven y estudian en San Salvador con el fundador del colegio, P. Rafael Fuentes.
La comida favorita de Ronald es espagueti y su materia favorita es ciencias. Le gusta estudiar aquí porque está aprendiendo mucho. Ronald quiere ser mecánico cuando sea grande, y arreglar carros, bicicletas, y de todo. En su tiempo libre, le gusta jugar fútbol y chibolas…y a veces hacer las tareas.

Ronald is twelve years old and in sixth grade. He comes from a village called “Sumpul Chacones” waaaay up in the mountains. This year he is living at PNARDS. It’s his first year here and he’s adapting well, although he misses his mom and his baby brother Gustavo. Ronald’s brother and sister, Rodrigo and Alejandra, live and study in San Salvador with the founder of PNARDS, Fr. Rafael Fuentes.
Ronald’s favorite food is spaghetti and his favorite subject is science. He likes coming to school at PNARDS because he’s learning a lot. Ronald wants to be a mechanic when he grows up and wants to fix bikes, cars, and everything in between. In his free time he loves to play soccer and marbles sometimes do his homework.
