In 2012, as part of the addition of the bakery, carpentry shop, and cafeteria, a fourth space was added to serve as a computer lab. Used computers from a contact in the United States had been in storage, but were now brought out for use and a new teacher was hired. This teacher, Eva, is dedicated to teaching computer skills to the students, and all nine grades have sessions in the lab at least twice a week. Eva has developed an approriate curriculum for each grade level. She is currently cooperating with a teacher at a grade school in the United States to further develop this curriculum.
One big challenge the colegio faces in the development of the computer lab is the lack of reliable internet service. There are many resources that the colegio could utilize to help students with special projects and to integrate the lab curriculum with what students are learning in the classroom.
